CYPERUS ESCULENTUS
One aspect of the scientific name of tigernut gives it away: the fact that ‘esculentus’ and ‘succulent’ are spelt almost the same. So strongly do we agree that it has a delicious taste that for 50 years we have been unable to take our eyes off this peculiar tuber. Each day we look after its origins, we tend to the land on which it is grown and continue to discover that its possibilities are endless.
